On leaving Art College I first started designing greeting cards which led to my first Book commission illustrating “The Boy and the Horse” which had moving parts, (paper engineering), and was fairly intricate. I have since illustrated for many publishers worldwide including, Little Tiger Press, Gemser Publications Barcelona, Harper Collins, Thomas Nelson and many others.
My home studio is set in the Forest of Dean which is an inspirational place to live and work as the natural world features prominently in many of the books I illustrate.
A new development is providing artwork for self-publishing authors. This involves working closely with the author to ensure they discuss their vision, develop and create the ‘perfect’ book, working to their specified budget.
